Summary: Two resolutions (of several presented) at the Frederick County Convention of the Constitutional Union Party were withdrawn from the official proceedings because of objections from two delegates in the Frederick Election District but are being published in the Examiner. The substance of the four resolutions is that the Republican and Democratic parties represent sectionalism but the Constitutional Union Party does not. The issue of slavery in the territories "is practically settled." Efforts to agitate people over the slavery issue by the other parties should be brought to an end. A change of Federal administration from the present extravagant and corrupt one is necessary. The paper prints four resolutions and does not say which two were withdrawn.
