Summary
George F. Webster, late merchant, has now decided to pursue a political career; he has started this new career by acting as a chairman for a German meeting; however, the editor of the Republican Citizen believes that once the Germans find out that Webster is in favor of African-American suffrage as a means of killing off the foreign vote and power, the Germans will not think so highly of him and his new political career will be a stake
