Summary
One of actions held against Pres. Johnson by Impeachment Committee was his willingness to give military assistance to Maryland Gov. Swann in his difficulties with Baltimore Police Commissioners - this paper has never mentioned that action and will not discuss it - refers to incidents where "Federal bayonets [did] their despotic work in Maryland" (obvious reference to Federal troops in Maryland during Civil War) - paper against actions of "impeachment mongers"
