DISTRICT NO 6 – According to previous notice, a meeting of the Republicans of District No. 6 was held in Boonsboro’ at the Office of the Odd Fellow on Saturday, September 12. On motion, ANSLEM WALTERS was elected President and JOSIAH KNODIN Secretary. On motion, the following gentlemen were named and unanimously elected delegates to attend the County Convention to assemble in Hagerstown on Tuesday, the 22d of September. D. H. Newcomer, Josiah Knodin, Sam’l Knode, Capt. L. Davis, N. G. Thomas, J. A. Grossnickle, J. Shoop, Geo. F. Smith, Wm. Gray, David O. Hammond. On motion, the proceedings were ordered to be published in the Boonsboro’ Odd Fellow and Hagerstown Herald and Torch. ANSLEM WALTERS, President, JOSIAH KNODIN, Secretary.
