DISTRICT NO. 15 - In pursuance of notice given by the Central Committee of Washington County, the friends of Grant and Colfax met at Indian Spring on Saturday the 1_th inst. On motion Wm. Mummert was called to the chair and Luther Brewer appointed Secretary. On motion of R. S. Roach the chair appointed a Committee of three to report the names of ten delegates to meet in County Convention, at Hagerstown on Tuesday 22d inst. The chair appointed the following Committee: Joseph M. Gehr, Lancelot Jacques, Robert S. Roach. Who reported the following named delegates to send to the Convention: Winfield S. Brown, Jonathan D. Trader, Peter Hall, Andrew S. McAllister, Joseph P. Basher, ___ Whitson, George L. Jacques, Denton C. Gehr, Robert S. Rout[?], Wm. L. Kline. On motion it was resolved that the D___ ____ be empowered to fill any vacancy that may arise in their delegation. On motion of Luther Krew it was resolved that the proceedings of this meeting be published in the Herald and Torch Light. On motion the meeting was adjourned. WM MUMMERT, President.
