Negro Suffrage

Summary

The House of Representatives has voted to allow African Americans the right to vote in the District of Columbia. The Republican Citizen mentions that the Frederick Examiner posted the entire new law and recorded that Hon. Francis Thomas voted for it. The Citizen wonders where the Examiner's editor stands on this issue of Negro suffrage in Maryland.
