Grand Military Parade and Review

Summary

A detailed report on the commemorative parade and review on the anniversary of the Battle of Yorktown by the citizen soldiers. It included 2 troops of horse, 2 companies of infantry, 1 company of riflemen from Frederick Co. plus Virginia troops and veterans of the War of 1812. The event was under the command of Lt. Col. Ulysses Hobbs, 16th Regiment, Maryland Militia. There were over 500 participants.
