Disunion Convention
Summary
The State Secession Convention met in Baltimore but was very poorly attended. Valley Register ashamed to admit that Bradley T. Johnson from Frederick Co. made a "violent disunion speech" which was replied to by Judge Chambers, president of convention, in strong Union terms. A committee of six were appointed to confer with the Virginia convention, after which the meeting was adjourned.
