Transcript

HANDSOME UNIFORM. – The Legislative appropriation to the Independent Riflemen, Capt. W. _____, has been judiciously invested by that flourishing corps in the purchase of a new uniform, the color, style and richness of which will elicit much appropriation at its first appearance on parade. It consists of a dark green frock coat, of strict military cut, single breasted, with three rows of regulation R buttons on the breast, and trimmed with gold lace au regle. It has a very trim and dashing air about it and we predict will be found a success.
