Summary

Aaron Davis of Frederick City an independent candidate for Congress for the 4th district; he supports the repeal of the Registry Law, the payment of loyal owners for slaves manumitted during the war, and adoption of the Constitutional Amendment which recently passed Congress. Examiner critical of his candidacy.
