THE MARYLAND REGIMENTS.
The whole number of Maryland Regiments that participated in the grand review were the First, Fourth, Seventh, and Eighth of the old Fifth Corps, and the Second and Third of the Ninth Corps. The Fifth Regiment is still near Richmond, with the Army of the __. The Third[?] Regiment [is] attached to the Sixth Army Corps and is now on its way to Washington where it will probably land this week. The Eleventh Regiment has been on duty for some time at Fort Delaware where it yet remains while the Thirteenth and Fourteenth are lying at Camp Carroll, near Baltimore, and are expected soon to be discharged. The Cavalry from this State are also scattered over a large scope of country, the First Regiment being with the Army of the James, Col. Cole’s Cavalry, at Martinsburg, and the Third at Fort Games[?], near Mobile, Ala. Shaw’s Battery and some other Maryland organizations are stationed in and about Harper’s Ferry. Alexander’s Battery, we believe, is at Washington where it was stationed during the greater part of last winter.
