Night Parade
Summary
United Guards under command of Lt. Beckley had evening drill and inspection, then paraded through the principal streets of Frederick City for approximately 2 hours preceded by the Frederick Cornet Band. The Torch Light procession was very enjoyable. Such evening parades are "likely to be often followed during the hot Summer months" because of their "manifest convenience."
