Linganore Guard
Summary
Linganore Guard under Capt. C. H. Bevans paraded, drilled and had inspection at local school house. "They evinced the effect of discipline on an intelligent body of men." There was the presentation of a bugle by the "Ladies" and an address by Dr. T. W. Simpson. "These rural parades promise to be most agreeable reunions throughout the coming summer."
