U. S. Hospital

Summary

A large reduction of the number of inmates of the U. S. Hospital has been made in compliance with an order from the War Department. Convalescents are being given honorable discharges and sent back to their homes. The patients will long remember the kind treatment they received and the friendships established. Scarcely 500 patients remain and it is thought that within a month the hospital will be "broken up altogether."
