Emmitsburg District
Summary
Proceedings of a meeting of the Union men of Emmitsburg District which took place September 14th. The following men were chosen the represent the district at the Union County Convention to meet in Frederick on Sept. 28th: Jacob Motter, William Gardner, Dr. Robert L. Annan, Samuel Maxwell and Joshua Rowe. A number of resolutions were made by Col. Robert Annan which were unanimously adopted. The proceedings were signed by Jacob Motter, President.
