Summary
Notice: Summary of a meeting held in Frederick of officers in the Military and Civil Service of the United States to pay respects to Abraham Lincoln and express faith in the future leadership of Andrew Johnson. The group included the Collector of Internal Revenue, Postmaster, Commissioner of the Draft, Chaplain at the U. S. A. General Hospital, doctor in charge of the hospital, Provost Marshal, etc. It asked that its proceedings be published in the Examiner. Signed: Capt. J. P. Rutherford, Chairman.
