Soldiers' Convention

Summary

Col. Vernon, of Frederick City, presided at the Convention in Baltimore of Maryland soldiers recently discharged from military service. Most counties were represented. The convention chose delegates to attend the national convention to be held in Washington next month. One resolution made at the convention was to keep the current Registry Law in effect. "The Registry law is as much a public necessity at this time as any law now in force in this State."
