Summary
Mr. Victor Thompson, a wealthy citizen of Hagerstown, died without issue leaving an estate estimated at about $60,000. Much of his money is left to various charities, to his sisters and he leaves $1,000 to his African American female servant. Upon her death, it will revert to other causes. He was the proprietor of the Drug and Chemical House on the Square in Hagerstown. [from Hagerstown Herald]
