Hospital Report

Summary

Report from the U.S.A. General Hospital in Frederick for the week ending March 15, 1862. As of March 9, there were 344 patients. 209 were added during the week, making a total of 553. 39 were returned to duty and 4 died. Names of those who died appear to be: Nicholas Erhart, John S. Baker, Jesse C. McCoy and Joseph Moore. Two died of typhoid fever, one of bronchitis and the cause of death of the other soldier is not decipherable. All were apparently Union soldiers.
