[Notice] "Was committed to the Jail of Washington County, as Runaway Slaves, Two Negro Men…" Shadrich Montgomery described as 5 feet 6 inches, "vary dark copper colored," his clothing includes a drab coat and vest, checked cassimere pants, "and a full suit of black clothes..." belongs to Robert Briley, 6 miles from Martinsburg, VA; Wesley Miles, "5 feet high, dark mulatto, scar on left eye." Clothing is "drab coat and pants, and some other common clothing." Belongs to William Hamilton Hanshaw, 6 miles from Martinsburg, VA. Owners to "come forward and identify their property..." Ed. M.
