Cronise to appoint committee to suggest officers - President, Hon. Daniel Weisel; VPs, Michael Newcomer and Henry W. Dellinger; Secretaries Isaac Nesbitt and Joseph O'Neal, unanimously adopted. Lewis P. Firey nominated for Senator; 5 named in article for House of Delegates; 5 named for County Commissioners; Henry Gantz named for Sheriff; James Brown for County Surveyor. Four resolutions made in support of the Union and against the MD legislature.
