Summary
Because Frederick is accessible by railroad, the military depot and hospital formerly at Hagerstown had been moved there. The sick and wounded will be moved soon. A part of the 4th CT Regt., which had been guarding Hagerstown, has been sent away. Their “efficient discharge of duty, and exemplary conduct” was praised.
