A Peaceful Harvest
Summary
Local farmers are harvesting one of the largest grain crops ever. The Union army has not interfered with local citizens performing their ordinary occupations, but in Berkeley and Jefferson Counties in Virginia, Union men have been driven from their homes and their crops are left to go to waste.
