Summary
The “defenders of treason” have finished writing a new state Constitution that will be placed before the voters on Sept. 18 (1867). The number of judges on both the Court of Appeals and the Circuit Court of the county would be increased, at higher salaries in each case. Loyal men are urged to vote against the Constitution.
