A Mass Meeting of the Unconditional Union Party of Maryland will be held in Clearspring on Oct. 16 (1866), featuring the following speakers: F. Thomas, Col. Robert Bruce, J.J. Stewart, Col. G.W.F. Vernon, Henry Stockbridge and C. Herbert Richardson. A Mass Meeting will be held in Hagerstown on Oct. 20, featuring F. Thomas, H.W. Hoffman, Gen. F. Sigel, Col. W.A. McKellip, Arch. Stirling, Jr. and Peter Negley.
