A Word to Soldiers
Summary
Former soldiers should not sell their discharge papers. It is expected that the government will grant land to those honorably discharged or provide bounty payments to soldiers proportionate to his service. Brokers are buying the discharges in anticipation of selling them back to soldiers at a large profit.
