Summary
The Baltimore American reports that the Maryland Brigade of the Army of the Potomac’s 5th Corps arrived at Camp Carroll. The brigade is commanded by Brig. Gen. Andrew W. Denison of Baltimore; 1st Regt., Col. D.S. Slanton; 4th Regt., Col. R.N. Bowerman; 7th Regt., Maj. Mobley; 8th Regt., Col. E.F.M. Febiz. The City Council has appointed a committee, chaired by Samuel T. Hatch, to plan a reception for the soldiers.
