Summary

Loyal men of Frederick County must work to overcome the betrayal of President Johnson and the corruption of the governor to turn out a 600-vote majority for the Union ticket on November 6 (1866). Otherwise, the “traitors” will resume the war they lost on the battlefield in the legislature.
