WAS Committed to the Jail of Frederick County, Maryland, on the 15th day of March 1862, as a fugitive, a negro man who calls himself JOHN R. JOHNSON. He is __ of age, _ feet _ inches high, had on when committed a black ___, brown ___, ___ and black striped pantaloons, all ___, and ____ hat. _______________ of Lieutenant ____, of the 11th[?] Missisippi Regiment, at the time of his death on the battlefield of Bull Run. The owner, if any, is hereby requested to appear and have him released; he will otherwise be discharged according to the law. MICHAEL ZIMMERMAN, Sherriff of Frederick County. March 1_.
