MIDDLETOWN DISTRICT.
All voters of Middletown District, irrespective of former political parties, who are in favor of the Union and desire the crushing out of the present rebellion, and therefore opposed to the Tory “peace” party ___ organized in this State, are respectfully requested to meet at the Academy in Middletown Saturday the fifth inst., at 6 o’clock, P. M., to select delegates to represent said district in County Convention, to be held in Frederick on the 28th[?] inst., to nominate County officers.
FREDERICK DISTRICT.
The voters of Frederick District, who are in favor of the “Union, the Constitution, and the Enforcement of the Laws,” are earnestly invited to attend the District meeting at the Union Hall, on Saturday afternoon next, at _ o’clck; for the purpose of selecting delegates to the County nominating Convention, and ___ other business. Let every lover of his country be at his post.
URBANA DISTRICT.
There will be a meeting of the Loyal and Union voters of Urbana District, held at the ____ School House, in Urbana on Saturday, the 14th day of September, at 3 o’clock P. M., for the purpose of electing delegates to represent said district in County Convention to be held in Frederick city on the 28th day of September to nominate County officers and also to name the day for the nominations of District officers. JOHNSVILLE DISTRICT
A meeting of the union voters of Johnsville District, will be held at the Primary School House, in Johnsville, on Saturday afternoon next, at 3 o’clock, for the purpose of taking such action as may be necessary for the approaching nominating Convention of this County. The voters of this District who are in favor of maintaining our Government and enforcing the Laws are earnestly invited to be present for the future purpose of giving an expression of sentiment in reference to this all important subject.
NEW MARKET DISTRICT.
The Union voters of New Market District are requested to meet in New market, on Saturday afternoon next, September 14th, at 4 o’clock, for the purpose of selecting delegates to the County nominating Convention, which is to assemble in Frederick, on the 28th inst. In this trying hour, it behooves every loyal citizen to aid, by his presence and counsel, the cause of the country.
MOUNT PLEASANT DISTRICT.
The Union voters of Mt. Pleasant District are requested to meet at Mt. Pleasant, at 3 o’clock P. M., on Saturday, the 14th inst., to elect delegates to the Union County Convention, to be held in Frederick on the 28th inst., to nominate legislative and County Officers. – Let every friend of the Union put his shoulder to the wheel.
