Editorial discussing the Legislature that is mostly formed of "Tories" or those supporting the secession - 8 of the 22 senators are Union men. States that the remaining 14 senators will be unsuccessful in enacting a secession ordinance. Sen. McKaig is in prison; Sen. Yellot has fled to Rebel territory; Senator from Cecil county is said to be a fugitive on the run. If the Senate is still strong enough to act, other Tories in their ranks should be arrested and imprisoned until after the election.
