“Visited Mrs. Lynch and O’Neal---went up to see Captain Robert Lilly of North Carolina. Met Dr. Stiles Kennedy, CSA. City Hotel taken as a hospital. Mrs Need in spite of all opposition reserving the parlor and four other rooms for herself and family.”
